The Insights area of the dashboard is home to high level and granular data for your site. This data is broken down into four specific areas including Content, Keywords, Links, and Competitors. You can click into many of the text, numerical and other areas of your charts for a deeper look at SEO and content data. Also, utilize the arrows at the top headers of charts to sort data in ascending or descending order.

Content Insights

The site content area highlights each page on your site and the keywords that are driving traffic. The default view of content is to sort the pages by top ranking keyword, but this can be filtered by using the keyword position arrow in the chart.

The content page also shows social signal information for Facebook, Google+ and Twitter.

From the content page, you can click on a selected page for more granular information including:

  • Title tag
  • Meta description
  • URL
  • Canonical URL
  • Last date crawled
  • HTTP status
  • Overall Grade
  • All keywords ranking for this page
  • Content analysis for the page including: Optimization Overview, Optimization Score, and Keyword & Content Grade
  • Social Signal trend charts
  • Indexing information

The content page also allows you to click on the targeted keyword for more details, including:

  • Average Rank, including competitor ranking trends
  • Findability Score for the selected keywords, compared to your competitors
  • Landing Pages ranking for the chosen keywords, including position, change, and social signals (this is also where you can manage Preferred Landing Pages)
  • SERP overview including position and information across all three search engines

Keyword Insights

The keyword section of your dashboard is where you can find data on all of your targeted keywords across your site. Your keywords page is divided into two sections, Performance Graphs and Comparison Charts.

Performance Graphs are visual displays of your keyword data and are great to use for reporting on your progress and KPIs. These charts can be exported easily using the “Export” button in the top right of your dashboard. Performance Graphs include:

  • Keywords in Top 3 – This graph overviews the ranking distribution for your targeted keywords, and uses color coded bars to show the total keywords found in each position.
  • Average Rank – Here you can view the average rank for your keywords, as compared to your competitors, across the time period selected
  • Findability Score – This is the Findability Score for the individual keyword selected, as compared to your competitors
  • Tracked Organic Visits – Here you can view all organic visits resulting from this keyword across all three search engines, as well as the average rank
  • Conversions – See how this keyword is contributing to conversions on your site for a quick understanding of ROI from your SEO and content marketing efforts

Comparison Charts are displayed to give you a quick view of your site elements, with the ability to move into more specific data easily. Comparison charts include:

  • Keywords – View the targeted keyword, ranking URL, search engine position and change, total searches, total visits, and total conversions.
  • Search Engines – Quickly view performance for each targeted keyword across all three search engines including position, change in rank, visits and conversions.
  • Groups – See your Keyword Group performance displayed with ranking distribution, total searches, visits and conversion data as well.
  • PLP Report – Preferred Landing Pages (PLPs) are pages that you own (or have control over) and are trying to rank for specific keywords. Here you can manage PLPs and track how well your content performs for high priority keywords.
  • Ranking Trends – View the ranking trend for individual keywords as a numeric value across your selected search engine. Also see total searches and visits.

Link Insights

The Links section is divided into two specific areas, Competitive Backlink Profiles and Page Indexing & Internal Profiles. Each of these areas is important in understanding the role that links play in your site’s findability. As links role in search and content marketing continues to evolve, we will update the GinzaMetrics platform and website with the most relevant way to view your data and report on progress.

Competitive Backlink Profiles – This page contains both a graph and chart display of link analysis. Depending upon your GinzaMetrics plan, you can view up to four competitors link data alongside your own. GinzaMetrics partners with SEOmoz to provide detailed backlink data for your use. View backlink profile analytics through a drop down selection in the main graph or below in chart format. Analytics include:

  • Root Domain
  • Root Domain Authority
  • Root Domain MozRank
  • Root Domain MozTrust
  • Followed External Links
  • Total External Links
  • Total Links
  • Followed Linking Root Domains
  • Total Linking C Blocks (to Root Domain)
  • Followed Links v Not Followed Links
  • External Links v Internal Links

Page Indexing & Internal Links – View link data across all links, or sort by HTTP errors, redirects, or duplicate titles. From here you can:

  • View each link’s status
  • See the link’s title
  • View URL title
  • Check to see if your link has a unique title
  • View inlink and internal outlink information
  • See targeted anchor text information

Competitor Insights

View your Ranking Distribution and Findability Score for selected competitors in the two graphs provided at the top of the page.

  • Keywords in Top 3 – This graph overviews the ranking distribution for your targeted keywords, and uses color-coded bars to show the total keywords found in each position across search engines.
  • Findability Score – This is the Findability Score for the individual keyword selected, compared to your competitors.

You can then compare the performance of individual keywords in the chart provided below for a detailed view of your targeted topics and content. The “Competitor” option in the chart at the bottom of the page also provides a cross-section view of keyword performance across all selected competitors for the search engine chosen.

From the competitor tab, you can select individual competitors, add new competitors, and click into keywords and rankings to drill down into detailed data.
